PEER is an independent political action committee that believes in using targeted advocacy to help create deep-rooted change.  We use electoral politics, legislative action, grassroots organizing and community education to achieve social justice and equal protection under the law for all people.

Purpose/Goals

• PEER will fight for full equality for all people, including the right for each person to form a civil union/marry the person of his/her choice.
• We believe in reaching out across all communities with an attitude of dignity and respect. 
• We identify supporters, educate them, and give them the tools to participate in the political process. 
• We will help LGBT persons create a supportive and visible community while building grassroots support for LGBT equality. 
• We want a society where all voices are heard and true equality and personal liberty are a reality. 
• We will work to increase civic involvement/participation.
